OWN YOUR VOICE 2022

A Public speaking contest for students of Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL)
Organised by the Open University Toastmasters Club (OUTMC)
To foster the value of public speaking in students of OUSL

Instructions :

1. Your speech should be prepared & no longer than 5 minutes
   [3-5 minutes]



2. Speech should be video recorded & shared in high quality with us
   [Avoid PowerPoint presentations]



3. The following criteria will be used to evaluate your speech:
   1. Content
   2. Clarity
   3. Vocal variety
   4. Eye contact
   5. Gestures



4. Your speech should address the question
   
   

   "What should the role of a University be in contemporary Sri Lanka?"




5. You are required to submit your recorded speeches with duly filled Google form of the speech contest
   [Use your OUSL Google Account to fill out the form]

9. Deadline for submissions- 24ᵗʰ December,2022

Depending on the number of applications received, there will be a second round.
The selected participants will be informed by OUTMC of the details of the second round.
